Good morning, New York Giants fans! Let’s get to your Wednesday headlines.

Barkley would like rushing title

Saquon Barkley has 1,124 rushing yards, third in the league behind Ezekiel Elliott (1,262) and Todd Gurley (1,203). Working on a string of four straight 100-yard rushing games, Barkley admits he’d like to catch ‘Zeke.

“I want to be great. I want to go down as one of the best, and that’s not just going to happen in one day,” Barkley said. “You have to work for it, obviously with the help of your teammates, but if I don’t get it (the rushing title) this year, I’m going to get it at some point. I promise you.”

Right now, though, what the rookie running back really wants is to continue winning.

“It’s an honor to be up there, but at the end of the day, that doesn’t really matter,” Barkley said. “It only matters how many wins you get and we’ve got to figure out how to continue to get those wins.”

Tiki Barber: Saquon Barkley as fast a learner as he is a runner

“It took me three years to figure it out, maybe four,’’ Barber said. “He got it in three weeks. Saquon, he’s developing the vision. Early on in the season, the pace of the game, you could see him kind of lost trying to find holes and trying to find running room.

“Like 13 weeks later he’s developed this patience, which allows him to find the cutback lanes. Like on the 78-yard touchdown, he was really slow to the line of scrimmage and when he saw the offensive line wash out the defensive line, he cuts back and he’s gone, untouched. And he’s so damn fast. He is so exciting to watch.’’

"I never doubted Eli Manning. I appreciate all the things he is as a person, as a player, how he trains, how he thinks, the interaction we have with him. I've watched him do it before. It's safe to say that when he's had his best success, he was playing behind really good offensive lines. I knew once we got that fixed or along the way, we were getting that fixed, he was going to have a better chance to show us what he can do."
