The New York Giants are on a winning streak after claiming victory in their first two games following their bye week. They travel to face a Philadelphia Eagles team on a two-game losing streak, having lost three of their last four games.
The Giants have their own losing streak in the city of Philadelphia, dating back to 2013. It’s a streak that the Giants are anxious to end, with Odell Beckham Jr. stating “It’s time [to end the losing streak]. Time’s now. We got six more games, two down, six left so that’s what we’re focusing on.”
For the first time this season R.J. McIntosh, the Giants’ fifth round rookie defensive lineman, will be active. McIntosh missed the entire off-season, training camp, pre-season, and most of the regular season with a mysterious illness.
Meanwhile the Eagles’ secondary is beyond banged-up, with the team missing its top cornerbacks and resorting to using reserve wide receivers at the position to practice.
