The New York Giants got some good news on Thursday as they held their first full practice in preparation for Monday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Tight ends Evan Engram and Rhett Ellison were both full practice participants.
Engram has been out since Week 3 with a sprained MCL. Ellison missed last Thursday’s game vs. the Philadelphia Eagles with a foot injury.
“It’s a great opportunity for myself. I’m looking to come back, looking to play this week and great opportunity for our team, Monday night primetime. Going back home against a good Atlanta Falcons team, it’s exciting. Gives us a lot of motivation to work this week and it’s just a great opportunity for this whole locker room,” Engram said.
“I feel good, I feel really good. There’s no limitations. They’re letting me loose at practice. I’m pushing through and I’m getting my confidence back in it and everything’s good right now.”
Wide receiver Russell Shepard (neck), offensive tackle Nate Solder (neck) and linebacker/defensive end Olivier Vernon (ribs) were limited.
