Olivier Vernon could make his long-awaited 2018 debut Thursday night for the New York Giants when they face the Philadelphia. Out all season due to a high ankle sprain, Vernon was not on the final injury report issued by the Giants on Wednesday. That should be taken as an indication he will play.
Tight end Evan Engram (knee) and wide receiver Russell Shepard (neck) have both been ruled out. Engram tested his sprained MCL on Tuesday, but is apparently not ready to go.
Tight end Rhett Ellison (foot) is questionable.
Placekicker Aldrick Rosas (sore right quad) was also not on the injury report. Again, that would likely be a sign that the second-year placekicker should be OK for Thursday. The Giants added placekicker Marshall Koehn to the practice squad this week just in case.
