How to watch the 2018 Senior Bowl

NCAA Football: Senior Bowl-North Practice Glenn Andrews-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to game day for the 2018 Reese’s Senior Bowl, and one final “Happy Saturday!” to all of you for the 2017-18 college football season.

Though not technically a college football game, the Senior Bowl is the last opportunities these young men will have to play wearing their school’s colors, if not playing for their teams.

It’s been an exciting week.

We saw small-school players such as edge rusher Marcus Davenport of Texas-San Antonio, cornerback Michael Joseph of Dubuque, and Alex Cappa of Humboldt State rise from obscurity to catch the eyes of scouts around the country.

Other players, such as LSU’s D.J. Chark and Stanford’s Harrison Phillips raised their profiles.

And of course there was the inevitable comparison between quarterbacks Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield.

Last year the New York Giants drafted a pair of Senior Bowl players, tight end Evan Engram, who impressed during the week and established himself as an equal to Alabama’s O.J. Howard, and quarterback Davis Webb, who won the game’s MVP award.
