2018 NFL playoffs: Saints vs. Vikings — game time, TV schedule, odds, more

How to watch Sunday’s game

NFL: New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs continues on Sunday afternoon as the New Orleans Saints travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. The game is slated to start at 4:40 p.m. and can be found on FOX.

The Saints come into Sunday’s matchup following a 31-26 win over the Carolina Panthers in the Wild Card round of the NFC playoffs. New Orleans relied on their success through the air against the Panthers, as Drew Brees threw for 369 yards and two touchdowns. The talented duo of Mark Ingram and rookie Alvin Kamara were halted by the Carolina defense, combining for only 41 yards. Kamara and Ingram both were named to the 2017 Pro Bowl after both ran for over 1,000 yards this season. They will try to get the run game going against Minnesota’s strong defense on Sunday.

The Vikings come into Sunday’s game as the No. 2 seed in the NFC, finishing the season with a 13-3 record. The breakout season by quarterback Case Keenum has been a huge reason for their success. Keenum started 14 games for the Vikings, passing for 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns to only seven interceptions. Wide receiver Adam Theilen has been a consistent target for Keenum, finishing the season with 91 catches for 1,276 yards, good for fifth in the NFL this season. On the other side of the ball, the Vikings defense has been one of the NFL’s best, currently ranked first in both points allowed and yards allowed this season. This defense will give the Saints offense a ton of troubles.

The Vikings come into the game as 4.5-point favorites.
