The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs continues Sunday afternoon as the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers at Heinz Field. The game is slated to start at 1:05 p.m. and can be found on CBS.
The Jaguars come into Sunday’s game following a 10-3 win over the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round of the AFC playoffs. Jacksonville’s pass defense won them the game against the Bills, as they only allowed Tyrod Taylor and Nathan Peterman to combine for 130 yards passing. The Jaguars have arguably the best cornerback duo in the NFL, with A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsey. Those two will be crucial in slowing down Pittsburgh’s elite offense. On the season, the Jaguars are first in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game.
Pittsburgh comes into Sunday’s game as the No. 2 seed in the AFC, finishing the regular season with a 13-3 record, which is tied with the New England Patriots for the top seed but they lost the tiebreaker because of a week 15 loss to New England. The Steelers hoist one of the NFL’s best offenses, led by veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He finished the 2017 season strong, finishing with 4,251 passing yards, 28 touchdowns to 14 interceptions. Big Ben had his roughest game of the season against the Jaguars earlier this season, tossing five interceptions in a Week 5, 30-9 loss to Jacksonville. On the season, the Steelers hold the third best passing offense in the NFL, in terms of total yards.
The Steelers come into the game as 7.5-point favorites.
