We knew Friday that the New York Giants would be without some important players when they face the Philadelphia Eagles. That was when we knew that starting linebacker B.J. Goodson and starting right tackle Bobby Hart would be out with leg (shin and ankle, respectively) injuries.
We didn’t know whether or not starting corner Janoris Jenkins would play, as he was listed as “questionable” and would be a game-time decision. Well, that time has come and Jackrabbit will play against the Eagles. It remains to be seen how much Jenkins will play, but the Giants are likely thankful for his presence.
The Giants also got some good news on the injury front on Friday, with star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle), rookie tight end Evan Engram (concussion), and linebacker Keenan Robinson (concussion) all coming off the injury report. So while the Giants will have to make do with an shuffled offensive line, and without their starting middle linebacker, they will have two of their most dangerous offensive weapons and their best coverage linebacker.
