With it being the first week of the NFL season, there are two games slated for Monday Night Football tonight. The New Orleans Saints will travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings and the Los Angeles Chargers will travel to Denver to play the Broncos. The first game of the doubleheader begins on ESPN at 7:10 p.m. EST, with the second one following at 10:20 p.m.
The Vikings come into tonight’s game with some questions on their offensive line. They had one of the NFL’s best defenses last year but had trouble scoring. The Saints will bring their high-powered offense into Minnesota to battles the Vikings terrific defense. The early game of the night should be a fun one. The Vikings are favored by 3.5 points.
The second game of the night pins one of the NFL’s best pash rushes against one of the NFL’s most improved offenses. The Chargers will get back Keenan Allen back after missing the entire 2016 season with a torn ACL. They will be without their first round pick, Mike Williams, who is suffering from a back injury. The Broncos had the best passing defense in the NFL last season, allowing 185.8 yards per game through the air. The Broncos are favored by 3.5 points.
Use this as your open thread for both games.
