Brandon Marshall (Shoulder) Returns To Practice For Giants

One of the Giants' injured receivers is back at practice

The New York Giants can let out some of the breath they have been holding since last Monday night's game against the Cleveland Browns.

That night both Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall left the game early with injuries, Marshall with a shoulder injury and Beckham with a sprained ankle. X-Rays and MRI's of both Beckham and Marshall's injuries were negative, and the team didn't seem overly concerned about either player.

Marshall, at least, returned to practice Monday.

“He looked good, he caught a nice ball on a slant route,” said coach Ben McAdoo. “Was moving around, got a little bit of work, so it’s nice to have him back in the mix.”

Despite returning to practice, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Marshall sit out the Giant's annual preseason finale against the New England Patriots.

The Giants' offense began to get traction against the New York Jets. After a rough start, they began to function somewhat similarly to what was been expected of them after their off-season acquisitions.

Odell Beckham is still recovering from his ankle injury, and the Giants won't rush him back, but it has to be a relief to have Marshall back on the field.

Kick returner/wide receiver Dwayne Harris also returned to practice.
