New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning will see his first preseason action Monday against the Cleveland Browns, and he said Saturday that getting a chance to work with some of the team’s new players in a real game is “big.”

“I think you are always going to learn something from every practice, but especially from every game,” Manning said. “They play different coverages or you get a different look and you have to adjust and learn from it, so for some of the new guys, we will learn together and be on the same. It is a great opportunity to go out there and be tested.”

Full Speed Ahead For Landon Collins

Safety Landon Collins made the first two tackles in the Giants’ first preseason game, and ended up with five tackles in just 10 snaps. He admitted that his teammates gave him grief about playing like it was a playoff game.

“Oh yeah, they did. They were like, ‘bro, what are you doing out there trying to hit people like that?’ That’s just my game. If they put their shoulders on me, I feel like I’m going to get hurt and I can’t let them just bully me,” Collins said. “So, at the same time I just got to go full speed, it’s just my nature. I can’t see anything else other than doing that.”
