EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Sheldon Richardson of the New York Jets has continued this season to bring up his 2016 feud with former teammate Brandon Marshall. Now a member of the New York Giants, Marshall said on Tuesday he doesn’t have time for Richardson.
“I wasn’t surprised,” Marshall said of Richardson’s latest comments. “I don’t have time to go back to that. That’s dead.”
Here is what Richardson said about Marshall recently on the Michael Kay Show:
“That whole situation right there was sticky because we’d lose and then he’d do little things that are drama queen-ish and then he doggin’ out this guy, that guy.
“It’s everybody’s fault except his and then there’s a reason this and a reason that. Everybody pointin’ a finger when you losing and then nobody want to say something to him, so I say something to him — the criminal, the bad guy — and the media just ran with it.”
Richardson can’t seem to let it go, but Marshall made it plain he has no intent of rehashing it. And that is just fine.
