New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. came in No. 8 in the NFL Network Top 100 players list, voted on by NFL players.
In our poll on Monday asking where Beckham should place, 25 percent (142) of 576 voters placed Beckham seventh. Sixteen percent placed him sixth, 15 percent eight and 14 percent ninth. Thus, eighth is in the ballpark of where Giants fans felt the superstar wide receiver would finish.
The top 10 were as follows:
- Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
- Von Miller, LB, Denver Broncos
- Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta Falcons
- Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Khalil Mack, LB, Oakland Raiders
- Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers
- Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys
- Odell Beckham Jr, WR, New York Giants
- Le’Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons
Other Giants who made the top 100 list were safety Landon Collins (No. 28), cornerback Janoris Jenkins (No. 54) and defensive tackle Damon Harrison (No. 96).
Harrison, incidentally, tweeted his unimpressed reaction to the voting.
They sleep on all of us...free schmoke season. Cowboys fans probably hacked the voting system ♂️ https://t.co/JVnE84JqXc
