Wide receiver makes the media rounds

What, you haven’t had enough Brandon Marshall for one day? The newest member of the New York Giants has been making the media rounds after signing with the team on Wednesday.

“All about a championship”

That is what Marshall said during a late afternoon conference call with Giants beat writers.

“They definitely did not offer me the most money. It probably was the least amount of money. It was all about championships,” Marshall said. “To get straight to the point - it was all about a championship, they presented the best opportunity to be in a championship organization.”

Visiting with Mike Francesa ... of course

“The Giants were the No. 1 team on my entire list,” Marshall told Francesa. “And I actually wrote this down, and I have that. And it’s just amazing how things work out. Now I’m sitting here, and I’m in blue. So I’m excited.”

Marshall also told Francesa that he won’t do weekly appearances on the “Inside The NFL” program this year, something he had hinted at when speaking to Giants beat writers.

On the “PapaCast”

Marshall spent some time chatting with Giants radio voice Bob Papa.

Oh, and a little time in the gym

An eventful first day!
