New York Giants offensive guard Justin Pugh, speaking on SB Nation Radio Thursday afternoon, is picking the Atlanta Falcons to defeat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 51.

“I think they’re the more well-rounded team. I think Tom Brady in my opinion is the best quarterback to ever go out there and play, so you never can count them out, but I think the Falcons win it,” Pugh said.

Pugh was a guest of hosts Nate Griffin and Patrick Creighton. He was also asked about the Giants’ season.

“Getting to the playoffs was a huge accomplishment for us. A lot of young guys on our team, a lot of guys that don’t have much playoff experience,” Pugh said

“A lot of the core of this team was very young. To get that experience was huge for us. Next year, we add a few pieces I expect us to be right back there.”

The Giants, of course, went 11-5 and then lost to the Green Bay Packers in the opening round of the playoffs.

Pugh was also asked the obligatory “what do you think of Odell Beckham Jr.?” question. Here is his response.

“Unbelievable teammate. He does get a bad rap because everything that guy does is put on Snapchat, it’s put on Twitter, video’s taken of him. If someone followed you around every day, all and and was videoing you someone’s going to have something bad to say about what you’re doing,” Pugh said.

“He’s got the hair, he’s got the personality, he’s always dancing around. That comes with it. As he’s getting more mature he’s realizing that, but he’s a great guy. He is an amazing teammate. No one wants to win more than Odell. People thrive off that and people look up to him in that locker room because of what he’s done his first three years in the NFL. Nothing bad to say about Odell whatsoever.”
