Ten tips for getting through your first Sunday without football

As always, we are here to help you

NFL: Preseason-New York Giants at Buffalo Bills Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

It is snowing like crazy outside my window here in upstate New York. I’m not looking forward to clearing that mess, and I’m trying to find ways to while away the first football-less Sunday since last summer. You may not have snow to deal with, but you probably are missing football. Here are 10 ways to get your football fix today without any games to watch.

  1. Catch up on all the 2017 NFL Draft profiles here at Big Blue View. Chris is doing outstanding work bringing you information on draft prospects, and we will have around 100 profiles by the time the draft arrives.
  2. Check out our free agent profiles. Like Chris has been churning out draft prospect profiles, I’ve been looking at potential free agent targets. I’m not recommending these guys are saying the Giants will chase them, just giving you players to discuss.
  3. Check out the “Big Blue Chat” podcast with Pat Traina and I.
  4. Check out some of the “GiantsCast” episodes of Bob Papa’s podcast. He always had excellent guests.
  5. Read the Big Blue View rules for draft success.
  6. Go back and read “Invictus’s” four-part series on fixing the Giants. [Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4]
  7. Weigh in on today’s discussion of whether or not Eli Manning will be a Hall of Famer.
  8. Watch Manning’s inspiring speech when he accepted the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
  9. Read of season-ending position-by-position reviews. You can find the list here.
  10. Check out our latest update to the Mock Draft Tracker.
