Giants vs. Redskins: Live updates, score, news, analysis

NFL: Washington Redskins at New York Giants Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

The 2-13 New York Giants finish a season to forget on Sunday when they face the 7-8 Washington Redskins at a frigid MetLife Stadium (1 p.m. ET/FOX).

Eli Manning will start at quarterback for the Giants, but will be surrendered by an entirely unfamiliar cast of characters on offense. Among the starters on the offensive line will be Chad Wheeler, Adam Bisnowaty and Jon Halapio. Tight end Evan Engram (ribs) and wide receiver Sterling Shepard (neck) won’t play.

The Giants who will take the field today are barely recognizable. With GM Dave Gettleman already making moves, it is pretty obvious that the Giants we see in 2018 won’t like much like the team we saw this season.

Use this as your open thread for the game. And stay safe out there later on when you’re celebrating New Year’s Eve — and the end of this awful season.
