The New York Giants don’t play until 4:25 Sunday afternoon, but news regarding the team started early. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen would prefer to be drafted by the Giants rather than the Cleveland Browns.

It shouldn’t surprise that Rosen would feel this way.
Current Browns’ rookie head coach Hue Jackson has repeatedly inserted and pulled DeShone Kizer from the starting line-up this season, and there are reports that the rookie QB’s confidence is “shot”.
There have also been rumors that USC quarterback Sam Darnold would return to school if there was a strong possiblity that he would be drafted by the Browns.
When Browns’ owner Jimmy Haslam hired new GM John Dorsey, it was with the understanding that he would find a franchise quarterback.
"That will be John's No. 1 priority. During the process,” Haslam said “We've gotten to know each other really well over the last few weeks. I think he would tell you if you ask him, 'What did Jimmy ask you about more anything?' It was about quarterback."
While the Giants haven’t made any such proclamations, there have been many calls for them to use what could be their highest draft pick since selecting Lawrence Taylor on a quarterback.
However, if both Darnold and Rosen go back to school rather than risk being drafted by Cleveland, and Cleveland is committed to drafting a quarterback, the Giants might not be able to find value at the position.
