The New York Giants continue to have the No. 2 overall spot in the 2018 NFL Draft order with two weeks remaining in the regular reason.
The 0-14 Cleveland Browns have the top spot. They would have to win both of their remaining games and the Giants (2-12) would have to lose twice for the Giants to have a shot at the No. 1 pick. At that point, the top pick would be determined by which team had the stronger schedule. The Browns play the 4-10 Bears and 11-2 Steelers the final two weeks.
The San Francisco 49ers are no longer the Giants’ chief competition for the No. 2 pick, having won three straight and improved to 4-10.
The 3-11 Indianappolis Colts, losers of five straight, now own the No. 3 pick. The colts finish the season against the 8-6 Ravens and 4-10 Texans. Colts’ opponents to this point have a .487 winning percentage, while Giants’ opponents have a winning percentage of .527.
