Giants’ injury update: Landon Collins in walking boot following loss

Injury updates from the Giants’ 30-10 loss to the Cowboys

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Giants fell to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon, 30-10. A couple of Giants were injured during the loss, so let’s take a look at some updates on those injuries.

Giants safety Landon Collins left the game in the fourth quarter while trying to chase down Cowboys’ Cole Beasley on a 54-yard catch. Collins was in a walking boot after the game with what he says is a mild ankle sprain. Collins dealt with a high ankle sprain earlier in the season.

Giants defensive end Olivier Vernon has suffered a left knee injury, the severity of the injury is unknown. Vernon missed time earlier this year with a high ankle sprain.

Giants wide receiver Darius Powe broke his right foot in his NFL debut. Powe caught the first two passes of his NFL career on Sunday. He was just added to the 53-man roster during the week.

More information to come on injuries once we are updated.
