Giants at 49ers: Betting odds shift in Giants’ favor

Somebody out there apparently believes in the New York Giants. More precisely, enough somebodies believe the Giants will defeat the winless San Francisco 49ers to have shifted the betting line. One-point underdogs at the start of the week, the Giants now find themselves 3-point favorites.

What changed? Not a whole lot, actually. Maybe it had something to do with the reports that the 49ers won’t play Jimmy Garoppolo again this week. Maybe it’s the reality that even 49ers fans are OK with losing, or that menacing Giants’ depth chart.

Whatever it is, the Giants are finding some support in the betting community.
