Of course they are

Tankathon Bowl? Battle of the Bad instead of Battle of the Bay? The “Umm ... Why Do We Have to Play” Bowl? This coming Sunday’s game between the 1-7 New York Giants and 0-9 San Francisco 49ers needs a nickname. What should it be?

Whatever you call it, fresh off a 51-17 humiliation by the Los Angeles Rams, the Giants now face another indignity. When they travel to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Ca. on Sunday to face the winless 49ers, they will be the underdog. Oddsmakers have made the 49ers 1-point favorites in the opening line.

The only thing that really matters about next Sunday’s game is what the draft order looks like when it’s done. San Francisco currently has the top overall pick, with the 0-8 Cleveland Browns second and the Giants third. What will that order look like by next Sunday night?

Anyway, we’re still digesting and dissecting the meaning of Sunday’s debacle against the Rams and we will have much more coverage of that. Be sure to check out our latest 2018 NFL Draft top 10 prospect rankings, as well.
