Both the injuries and the embarrassment continued to mount for the New York Giants on Thursday night in a 20-10 loss to the Washington Redskins.

Injuries? Cornerback Janoris Jenkins reportedly left the stadium in a walking boot with an ankle injury. Cornerback Donte Deayon reportedly left with a cast on a broken forearm. Linebacker Curtis Grant was carted off with a knee injury. Linebacker Deontae Skinner suffered a hamstring injury.

Embarrassment? Three points from an awful offense. Seven first downs, only one in the second half. An average of 3.1 yards per play. A 2-9 record in a season that began with talk of the team being a Super Bowl contender. The Giants are now guaranteed their fourth losing season in five years and won’t make the playoffs for the fifth time in six years.

Here is a look at what others are saying in the wake of the Giants’ latest dismal performance.
