The ninth week of the NFL gets its start on Thursday night as the Buffalo Bills travel to New York to play the Jets on Thursday Night Football. The game is slated to start at 8:25 p.m. and can be found on the NFL Network and CBS.
The Bills come into tonight games with a 5-2 record, good for second in the AFC East behind the New England Patriots. The team traded for Kelvin Benjamin on Tuesday, giving the Carolina Panthers 3rd and 7th-round picks in return. Benjamin has caught 32 passes for 475 yards and two touchdowns this season. In the absence of Charles Clay, Benjamin figures to play a huge role in the red zone for the Bills on Thursday night.
The Jets come into tonight’s game with a 3-5 record, good for fourth in the AFC East. New York fell to the Falcons last week 25-20, part of a three-game skid. Josh McCown has been great at quarterback for the Jets this season, passing for 1,840 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.
The Bills come into tonight’s game as 2.5-point favorites.
