A week after having one of the best games of his career, New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard will be inactive for the New York Giants on Sunday as he deals with migraines.
Shepard was a late addition to the injury report, being added to the report after arriving in the Giants facilities with migraines on Saturday morning. He joins fellow starters OG/RT Justin Pugh, MLB B.J. Goodson, and CB Eli Apple (coach’s decision) on the inactive list.
In a move that was suspected all week, but only confirmed Sunday morning, undrafted rookie Chad Wheeler will be starting at right tackle. Wheeler will have the unenviable task of blocking Justin Houston for most of the game. In other changes to the starting line-up, Ross Cockrell will start for Eli Apple, who missed this week of practices to be with his mother while she undergoes (and recovers from) brain surgery.
And finally, undrafted rookie Calvin Munson will start at middle linebacker for Goodson.
