In what a report earlier Sunday indicated could be Ben McAdoo’s final game should the New York Giants lose it, the 1-7 Giants face the 0-9 San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon. The Giants are 3-point favorites.

The Giants, for a change, get some good news on the injury front. Defensive end Olivier Vernon returns to the lineup for the first time since Week 4 and offensive lineman Justin Pugh is in the lineup after missing last week’s game with a back injury.

The Giants have, of course, had a tumultuous week with anonymous players going to the media with complaints about the coach.
