Rapoport: NY Giants Coach Ben McAdoo Not On Hot Seat

Talk radio and the Internet disagree

New York Giants fans want heads to roll after the team’s disappointing 0-4 start to the 2017 NFL season. Well, NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that they are not going to.

Rapoport said Sunday morning that the second-year coach is not in jeopardy of losing his job.

“There’s no quick triggers, there’s no rash judgments, there really is no bowing to the public cries that you hear on talk radio,” Rapoport said. “No. Ben McAdoo is not in trouble. The Giants believe he is still a future very successful head coach.”

Rapoport also said the organization believes that after going 11-5 a season ago that the 0-4 start is a “blip on the radar.”

I’m not going to offer any deep thoughts on that right now, especially with a game starting in a few minutes. I’m just going to leave it here for you to discuss. I’m sure this won’t upset any of you at all.
