The New York Giants could use help at wide receiver, and Odell Beckham Jr. has an idea. With trade rumors swirling around his good buddy Jarvis Landry, Beckham is lobbying for the New York Giants to reunite the former LSU teammates.

Landry took to social media earlier today to make it seem like he was expecting to be jettisoned by the Dolphins.
There are conflicting reports about whether Landry, 24, is actually available. Landry had 338 receptions in three-plus seasons with Miami, with a high of 110 in 2015. He has 50 receptions through seven games this season.
It’s nice to talk about pairing Beckham and Landry, but doesn’t really seem to make sense for the Giants. His skill set would seem to duplicate that of Sterling Shepard. Plus, he is in the last year of his contract and will be looking for a lucrative extension. The Giants probably can’t afford to pay monstrous long-term deals to both Beckham and Landry.
Oh, well, Beckham can dream. And it gives us something to talk about as we chug toward the 4 p.m. ET trade deadline.
