Something has to give Sunday when the 0-4 New York Giants host the 0-4 Los Angeles Chargers. Doesn’t it? One of them has to win — a tie would be just cruel. The early has the Giants favored by 3.5. See all the Week 5 odds on the SB Nation Odds page sponsored by Odds Shark.

We have been over the situation the Giants find themselves in. Only 0-4 team has reached the playoffs under the current format. FiveThirtyEight gives the Giants a 4 percent chance of being the second, and 68 percent chance of getting their first win on Sunday.

Maybe home-cooking will help the Giants as three of their first four games were on the road. The Giants have lost back-to-back games on final play field goals. Sooner or later, they have to catch a break. Don’t they?

Keep it here all week as we continue to dissect the issues that have plagued the Giants, and get you ready for Sunday afternoon.
