The seventh week of the NFL gets its start on Thursday night as the Kansas City Chiefs travel to Oakland to play the Raiders on Thursday Night Football. The game is slated to start at 8:25 p.m. and can be found on the NFL Network and CBS.
The Chiefs come into tonight’s game with a 5-1 record, good for first place in the AFC West. Kansas City suffered its first loss of the season last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Alex Smith has been terrific for the Chiefs this season, passing 1,637 yards, 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
The Raiders come into tonight’s game struggling a bit, with a 2-4 record and currently sit tied for last in the AFC West. After starting the season 1-0, the team has dropped four of its last five games. The Raiders have struggled to get Marshawn Lynch going this season, as he is only averaging 3.7 yards per carry on 70 carries this season.
The Chiefs come into tonight’s game as 2.5-point favorites.
