As we hinted on Friday was a possibility, the New York Giants are expected to shuffle their offensive line again Sunday night. ESPN is reporting that the Giants will once again move Justin Pugh to right tackle in an effort to deal with Von Miller of the Denver Broncos, benching Bobby Hart.
In his return to the lineup following an ankle injury, Hart was dominated last week by Joey Bosa of the Los Angeles Chargers.
The line, from left to right, is expected to be Ereck Flowers, John Jerry, Brett Jones, D.J. Fluker and Pugh.
Jones will play center in place of Weston Richburg, who will miss a second straight game due to a concussion. Fluker’s presence has helped the running game the past couple of weeks. Jerry played left guard earlier in the year with Pugh at right tackle and Jones injured.
Can this help the Giants deal with Miller? Maybe, maybe not. At least, though, they are trying something.
