Sunday has been a busy day for the New York Giants when it comes to injury news.
First it was reported that Olivier Vernon and Jonathan Casillas were expected to play despite being listed as “Questionable” and “game time decisions”. Close on the heels of that was the report that free agent guard D.J. Fluker would be getting the start at right guard, while John Jerry moves to left guard to fill in for Brett Jones, who is dealing with a hip injury, and that Justin Pugh would remain at right tackle.
Now we finally know who will, and will not, be playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers later this afternoon.
The Giants will have defensive end Olivier Vernon and linebackers Jonathan Casillas and B.J. Goodson available. Also, offensive guard D.J. Fluker will be getting his first start as a Giant, while running back Wayne Gallman and OLB/DE Nordly “Cap” Capi will be on the active roster for the first time.
