I've seen (and heard) quite a few 'threats' from various fans to completely boycott the NFL (due to protests), or the NY Giants (due to poor play and/or protests).

I will refrain from offering any thoughts until the comment section. I am very curious to get feedback from the community.

Who are these 'threats' meant for? What is the purpose? Is it just venting? Will the NFL or the NY Giants give a hoot?

Please share thoughts, facts, opinions and experiences below. We all experience our fandom in different ways, and I believe there is no one true way to be a fan. This is meant to be a civil discussion so we can better understand the mindset.
