Giants are playoff underdogs, a position they have been in before

NFL: New York Giants at Washington Redskins Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Giants are 4-point underdogs in next Sunday’s wild-card playoff game at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers. In odds posted on the SB Nation Odds Page sponsored by Odds Shark that is actually down from a 6-point opening spread on Sunday night.

The 11-5 Giants are the No. 5 seed. They earned a wild-card berth by finishing second in the NFC East. The fourth-seeded Packers, winners of the NFC North, are 10-6.

Both teams enter the game riding hot streaks. The Packers have won six straight. The Giants have won nine of 11 since a 2-3 start.

The Giants lost to the Packers at Lambeau in Week 5, 23-16.

Here is the wild-card weekend schedule, along with our initial overview of Giants at Packers.

We will have much more coverage throughout the week, so be sure to come back often. For the Green Bay perspective, stick with SB Nation’s Acme Packing Company.
