The New York Giants have announced the inactive players for today's game against the Washington Redskins.
Headlining the list is running back Rashad Jennings, confirming the earlier expectation that he would sit with an injured thumb.

DT Montori Hughes,
OT Marshall Newhouse,
Safety Darian Thompson,
DT Robert Thomas
Notably not on the list of inactive players are offensive tackle Will Beatty, running back Paul Perkins, and safety Andrew Adams. None of those players have yet to suit up on game day for the Giants.
Beatty was re-signed by the Giants just before the final game of the preseason but has not yet taken the field. Perkins and Andrews are rookies who will make their NFL debuts this week. Andrews was activated off the Giants' practice squad Saturday after the injuries to safeties Mykkele Thompson and Darian Thompson.
We will have to wait and see if Perkins gets a role in the offense. While the shifty back from UCLA has fans excited, he will need to impress the coaches with his pass protection and knowledge of the offense before he becomes a regular contributor on the field.
UPDATE: Pat Traina is reporting that second year offensive lineman Bobby Hart will start in place of Marshall Newhouse.
Bobby Hart starts for Newhouse.
