Good morning, New York Giants fans! The latest Big Blue chat podcast with yours truly and Pat Traina (Inside Football/NFL Spin Zone) is available for download. Give it at listen as Pat and I discuss this week's New York Giants-Washington Redskins game. We, of course, discuss Odell Beckham vs. Josh Norman. We also, however, touch on the Giants' injury situation and the reports of dissension in the Washington locker room revolving around quarterback Kirk Cousins.
DeSean Jackson staying out of Beckham-Norman feud
Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson and Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham are friends. Jackson and Josh Norman, of course, are teammates. That puts Jackson somewhere in the middle of the feud between the two, but Jackson said this week he is staying out of it.
"I am sure that him (Beckham) and Josh have their own hatred towards each other or whatever you want to call it," Jackson said. "I have talked to them about the situation, but it is something that I don't want to be in the middle of. Like I said, I have a relationship with Odell and look at him as a younger brother in this league, that has come in this league and done some great things. As far as Josh, I am just really getting to know him this year, but their relationship is kind of rocky. When I talk to them it is not about each other."

Redskins fire back at Keenan Robinson (New York Post)
Earlier this week, former Washington and current Giant linebacker Keenan Robinson had some pointed things to say regarding division in the Redskins locker room. Washington players fired back at Robinson on Wednesday.
DeAngelo Hall:
"Keenan said that? That's interesting. Where's he playing at? I didn't know he was even on a team. You can print that."
Trent Williams:
"I'm pretty sure he would say that. I'm pretty sure he doesn't really have any good feelings toward the organization. Obviously, he's not here anymore. Comments like that are human nature."
New York Giants' Janoris Jenkins unimpressed by DeSean Jackson's game - NFC East- ESPN
"It’s different when you go against a guy that has speed and quickness and that can run routes. But with DeSean, I just think he’s just kind of fast," Jenkins said when asked how Jackson ranks among the fastest receivers he’s faced. "Deep guy. I don’t see no digs or dig returns or anything like that."
Cocky Josh Norman is begging for Odell Beckham | New York Post
ASHBURN, Va. — Josh Norman wouldn’t say if the plan is for him to shadow Odell Beckham Jr. on Sunday.
But Norman wants to.
Badly. "
Heck yeah, why not?" the Redskins cornerback said with a smile Wednesday. "Shoot, man, that’s the competitor that’s inside of me, man. I don’t shy away from nobody." Saying he "reeks and oozes with confidence," Norman added Beckham will be in for a long day at MetLife Stadium if Norman can get his head right in the first rematch of their notorious slugfest on the same field last December. "I don’t bow down to nobody or their thoughts of me," Norman said. "I try to make my own, and when I do, I impose my will. … So at the end of the day, you give me your best shot, and I’ll take it."
