Giants looking for 2-0 start

NFL: New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Can the New York Giants start a season 2-0 for the first time since 2009? To accomplish that on Sunday, the Giants will have to handle the high-scoring offense of Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

In his weekly picks against the point spread, Jesse Bartolis has forecast a comfortable victory for the Giants. Here is another view of the game predicting a Giants victory.

The Giants got good news earlier when it was announced that defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) would be active.

The game will be broadcast on FOX (full broadcast details).

Will this be another high-scoring game between the Giants and Saints. The last four times the teams met the winner scored 48, 49, 52 and 52 points. The Saints won last season, 52-49.

Darian Thompson will start at free safety for the Giants in place of Nat Berhe.
