New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul did nto practice on Thursday due to a sore shoulder.
Per Art Stapleton, the Giants “don't consider Jason Pierre-Paul's shoulder a big deal.” Stapleton and other reporters indicate that JPP’s shoulder is simply “sore.”
Pierre-Paul cryptic about the shoulder after missing practice on Thursday.
“It allowed me to play last Sunday. I’m not even worried about my shoulder. We’re good. I’ll be out there Sunday … maybe,” he said.
The only player on the Giants’ injury report was Robert Thomas, who continued to miss practice due to an extended illness.
The Giants face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. The backup defensive ends are Romeo Okwara, Owamagbe Odighizuwa and Kerry Wynn. Odighizuwa played 17 snaps last week against the Dallas Cowboys, Okwara 13 and Wynn only 5.
Pierre-Paul had four tackles and two hurries against Dallas.
