The New York Giants (1-0) opened the week as 4-point favorites over the 0-1 New Orleans Saints in Sunday’s upcoming home opener for the Giants.

New York won a thrilling 20-19 game against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Saints dropped a difficult one-point game to the Oakland Raiders, 35-34.

The Giants will be trying to start a season 2-0 for the first time since 2009. That year they opened 5-0, but stumbled to an 8-8 record and missed the playoffs.

New Orleans defeated the Giants 52-49 last season in a crazy, high-scoring game that was decided on a last-second field goal. Botched punt coverage by the Giants set up the game-winning 50-yard field goal by Kai Forbath.
