Just before the first half ended, the New York Giants suffered their first injury of the game. Linebacker J.T. Thomas was carted off the field after covering a kickoff.

The Giants have announced that Thomas is out for the remainder of the game with a sprained knee.
After signing as a free agent a year ago, Thomas suffered an injury-plagued season. He has lost his starting job to Jonathan Casillas. It was recently announced that Thomas took a pay cut to remain with the team.
