The New York Giants return to the practice field Monday for their final stretch of practices before opening the preseason Friday night against the Miami Dolphins. The Giants were off on Sunday following Saturday’s marathon two-hour, 20-minute practice session.
How hard will the Giants go today? That will be interesting to see after several physical practices last week, including Saturday’s. One thing we know is that the Giants won’t spend much time prepping for the Dolphins this week.
“We are not going to spend a whole lot of time on Miami,” coach Ben McAdoo said. “We are going to spend a lot of time on ourselves and we will roll the ball out there and we will play the game when the game gets here.”
After Monday, there are only four public practices remaining in training camp. so, if you want to get over and see the team you’d better hurry up and do it.
Injury updates
The Giants came through Saturday’s heavy-hitting practice with no major injuries reported. There is still no word when the two players on PUP, defensive tackle Jay Bromley (ankle) and linebacker J.T. Thomas (hamstring) will return to practice.
