Training camp continues to roll along for the New York Giants on Thursday, with the sixth practice of camp set to begin at 10:40 a.m. ET. Here are some things to watch for.
Will Odell practice?
Coach Ben McAdoo said Wednesday that Odell Beckham Jr. was “close” to returning to practice. Beckham has not practiced since being cleated on Sunday, but ran on his own Wednesday and caught a few punts. He could be back on the field Thursday.
What will Spags say?
Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will address the media after practice. It will be interesting to get Spags’ perspective on the progress of his group.
A little 9-on-7?
This run game/run defense drill is maybe the most physical thing done in NFL practices. The Giants haven’t done it yet, using half-line running drills. McAdoo hinted Thursday might be the day we see it.
