With Josh Brown facing a one-game suspension and Tom Obarski having shanked a 28-yard field-goal attempt on Saturday against the Buffalo Bills, the New York Giants are apparently moving quickly to look into potential placekicking options.
Giants will be working out kickers tomorrow, including Garrett Hartley, with their depth K struggling and Josh Brown facing 1gm suspension

Hartley was with the New Orleans Saints from 2008-2013. He kicked in two games for the Cleveland Browns in 2014, but was out of the NFL last season. As Pat Traina explained, since Hartley is a vested veteran if he is on a roster Week 1 his salary is guaranteed for the full season.
No word at this point as to who any of the other kickers are who will be working out.
Obarski has never kicked an an NFL regular-season game, and with this news it seems unlikely the Giants will give him that chance Week 1.
The Hartley news raises the question of whether the Giants, with the Brown situation looming, might be looking at the possibility of needing a kicker beyond the first week.
