The New York Giants have released the list of players who aren't traveling with the team it's advance of their second preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.
The following players did not travel to Buffalo:

Geremy Davis
Will Johnson
Leon McFadden
J.T. Thomas III
Kerry Wynn
Losing Geremy Davis for the game is the biggest news among those who didn't travel.
Davis has had an excellent spring and summer, and the questions had begun to shift from whether he would make the team to how high on the depth chart he could climb. Missing Will Johnson is a disappointment as well. Not only is his versatile athleticism expected to add numerous wrinkles to the Giants' offense, but his blocking could only help the running game.
But perhaps bigger news is that Justin Pugh, Eli Apple, and Victor Cruz all traveled with the team. We still don't know if any would play after a sore shoulder and a pair of sore groins (respectively) kept them from practice this week. Though with Ben McAdoo not ruling the possibility out, that at least bears watching and adds a layer of interest and intrigue to the game.
