Training camp is over for the New York Giants, but for the time being reporters continue to have access to complete practice sessions. So, with that in mind we will continue to bring you whatever highlights we can.
What Victor Cruz’s day looked like
As we wrote about earlier, Victor Cruz missed yet another practice on Wednesday due to his injured groin. Here is what his day at practice looked like. Cruz has not yet been ruled out for Saturday’s preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. (Read more from Cruz)

Anthony Dable is showing out
One of the young wide receivers hoping to take advantage of Cruz’s absence is Anthony Dable. We wrote last week about how the French-born rookie free agent is feeling increasingly comfortable. Dable told me he wanted to “show out.” Here is an example from Wednesday of him doing just that.

Matt Smalley’s misfortune
Undrafed free agent cornerback Matt Smalley apparently suffered a dislocated shoulder during Monday’s practice. Cornerbacks were spotted working out for the Giants after Wednesday’s practice, which likely means Smalley — from Lafayette — is about to lose his roster spot.
Justin Pugh misses practice
Starting left guard Justin Pugh missed practice with a bruised left shoulder. Bobby Hart slid over and took first-team snaps at left guard. The takeaway there is it is that it is becoming increasingly apparent that Hart, a second-year man, is the first player off the bench at either guard or right tackle for the Giants.
