The New York Giants trail the Miami Dolphins, 17-10, at halftime of their 2016 NFL preseason opener at MetLife Stadium.
After a weather delay of nearly an hour the Giants got off to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter but a trio of second-quarter turnovers by quarterback Ryan Nassib helped the Dolphins charge to the lead.
The Giants put together a 10-play, 74-yard drive to open the game. Defensively, they allowed only 18 yards and no first downs in the first quarter. Things went downhill in the second quarter.
The Giants saw first-round pick Eli Apple (knee) and second-round pick Sterling Shepard (groin) both leave the game in the first half. More on those when information becomes available.
Nassib went 5-for-11 for 62 yards with a fumble and two interceptions. Andre Williams ran eight times for 36 yards.
What will happen in the second half? Keep it here to find out, and to discuss it.
