Former New York Giants wide receiver Rueben Randle didn’t exactly endear himself to Philadelphia Eagles fans with his performance Thursday in the Eagles’ 17-9 preseason opening victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Termed an “embarrassment” by one scribe, Randle caught one pass for three yards in three targets, had a drop and took a 10-yard penalty for batting a fumble out of bounds that was described as “dumb.”
What better place to turn for Randle reaction that Twitter.
Watched Rueben Randle's snaps from last night. Embarrassment. Barely ran routes. Didn't block. QBs can't possibly want him on the field.

Re-watching this game and Rueben Randle looks completely uninterested in playing football.

Rueben Randle vs man-to-man coverage deep. Looks wholly uninterested, almost like he's surprised ball came his way. pic.twitter.com/rhFyvN71MF

Rueben Randle drop. Can see why he drove Giants crazy.

And Rueben Randle doing Rueben Randle things too.

That's the Rueben Randle the Giants couldn't wait to not re-sign.

All of this vitriol after Randle had been lauded throughout training camp for excellent work.
Doug Pederson on WRs: "Rueben Randle is a guy that has kind of stood out right now. Jordan Matthews goes without saying."

Ahh, the mysteries of dealing with Randle. Snicker at that while you wait for Giants vs. Miami Dolphins tonight, and look forward to getting a chance to watch Sterling Shepard.
