New York Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is No. 10 of the NFL Top 100 Players of 2016 list voted on by the players. Beckham is No. 3 among wide receivers, with Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers No. 4 and Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons No. 8.
Here is the complete list of players ranked ahead of Beckham.
No. 9 — Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots; No. 8 — Jones; No. 7 — Luke Kuechly, Carolina Panthers; No. 6 — Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers; No. 5 — Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings; No. 4 — Brown; No. 3 — J.J. Watt, Houston Texans; No, 2 — Tom Brady, Patriots; No. 1 — Cam Newton, Panthers.
Beckham was No. 32 after his record-shattering rookie season. He was terrific in 2015, with 96 catches for 1,405 yards, but perhaps not as other-worldly.
“Him dominating the way he’s done his first two years in the NFL is pretty impressive,” said Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu in the accompanying video.
Tampa Bay wide receiver Mike Evans said Beckham has “some of the best hands in the game.”
“He by far has some of the best ball skills that I’ve ever seen and I think this game has ever seen,” said Washington Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams.
“He gonna make you look bad. He gonna make you look real bad,” said former Giants corner Charles James.
Is this the right spot Beckham? What numbers do you think he is capable of producing this season?
Giants quarterback Eli Manning is No. 47 on the list.
