A trio of New York Giants will begin the 2016 season the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Victor Cruz is not one of them, at least not yet, but high-priced free-agent defensive tackle Damon Harrison is. He will be joined by defensive tackle Jay Bromley and linebacker J.T. Thomas.

Before you freak out and begin cursing the injury Gods, there is this from head coach Ben McAdoo.
McAdoo said he doesn't consider the injuries to Snacks, Thomas or Bromley to be serious.

Thomas missed time last season with an ankle injury and spent much of the spring sidelined. Perhaps his status is the most concerning.
Harrison is expected to anchor the interior of the defensive line after being signed as a free agent from the New York Jets. He practiced throughout the spring, so how or when his knee flared up is not yet known. When Bromley, the third-year defensive tackle, injured his ankle is also not yet known.
As for Cruz, his status will apparently be determined by today’s conditioning test.
McAdoo said he needs to see Victor Cruz in today's conditioning evaluation before determining if he is cleared to practice.
