Odell Beckham Jr. predicts Giants will reach Super Bowl 51

Can Beckham and the Giants deliver on that prediction?

Odell Beckham Jr.’s long, winding offseason road has ended with a football camp for kids and a prediction that the New York Giants will take part in Super Bowl 51.

“Most importantly, go Giants this year! Super Bowl 51 in Houston. We will be there.’’

That was reportedly part of what Beckham said to campers on Tuesday at Boonton High School in New Jersey.

The Giants are 12-20 in Beckham’s two seasons. That, however, isn’t stopping the superstar wide receiver from predicting great things for 2016.

Here is what he said recently in an interview with GQ:

“I get these weird divine feelings. They’re, like, so strong I can’t shake them. When I think about Super Bowl 51” — as in, the next one — “I think about the guys that we have. It almost makes me sick to my stomach because I know that it’s going to happen. I’m saying it now, and it’s weird. And then it comes the time, and it’s like, ‘Wow. This is really happening.’ ”

Beckham, in fact, was talking about winning championships as far back as the beginning of OTAs.

“There are a lot of banners that aren’t here that need to be in here. That’s something that I look at every day. There’s nothing that crosses my mind more than putting a fifth banner here, saying 2016 Super Bowl Champions,” Beckham said back in April. “Your name will be here forever and it’s something you can take with you for a lifetime. There’s nothing more that’s on my mind than winning a Super Bowl.”

The Giants report for training camp Thursday, and the first practice will be Friday morning.
